Take an old gas screw that's been around 70 years or so, or one that's been through a re-finish and extend the valve and let it soak overnight. We usually take old gas screws, open the valve and drop them in the ultrasonic or a small container of solvent---amazing the crud that collects! Tool only--gas screw not included.
